Metody dydaktyczne: |
(tylko po angielsku) Laboratory work under the instruction of the supervisor, aimed at the introduction of students to molecular biology and biotechnology techniques. Self-reliant work in the laboratory, making experiments connected to the diploma thesis based on the instructions provided, the analysis of results. A systematic reading of the scientific literature related to the thesis. |
Metody i kryteria oceniania: |
(tylko po angielsku) 5.0 grade – student understands the purpose of the scientific problem of the thesis, systematically and independently searches for the literature of the subject, is creative and engaged in problem-solving, knows and conducts the methods required for the experimentations, analyses the results, and make all necessary calculations faultless, makes systematic and upright documentation of the laboratory work, interprets the results in a correct way, is active in scientific discussions and takes good care of the laboratory equipment and materials. 4.0 grade – student understands the purpose of the scientific problem of the thesis, in most part systematically and independently searches for the literature of the subject, is creative and engaged in problem-solving, knows and conducts the methods required for the experimentations, analyses the results and make all necessary calculations with some assistance, makes systematic and upright documentation of the laboratory work, interprets the results with assistance of the supervisor, is active in scientific discussions and takes good care of the laboratory equipment and materials. 3.0 grade - student needs the support for understanding the purpose of the scientific problem of the thesis, in the search for the literature of the subject, is merely engaged in problem solving, has problems with the analysis of results and necessary calculations, needs assonance in the preparation of the documentation of laboratory work and interpretation of the results, takes good care of the laboratory equipment and materials. 2.0 grade (negative) – student does not understand the purpose of the specified work, conducts the experiments in a careless way, does not prepare the laboratory documentation, is not able to analyze the results nor draw conclusions from the experiments. The supervisor evaluates the student’s work in a continuous manner: his/her theoretical preparation, activity in skills in the laboratory, compliance to the schedule, reliability of the measurements and data analysis, and creativity on problem-solving. The culture of work in the team and taking care of work safety and laboratory equipment and materials is also evaluated. |
