Continuous assessment of practical skills:

Very good: the student understands the purposefulness of the studied problem, is very involved and creative in conducting research, is systematic, performs subsequent experiments reliably, makes chemical calculations flawlessly, prepares accurate documentation, correctly interprets the results, takes care of the materials and laboratory equipment entrusted to him.

Good: the student understands the purposefulness of the problem under study, is involved in conducting experiments, is systematic, reliably performs subsequent experiments, performs chemical calculations with some help, correctly prepares documentation, interprets the results with a little help from the teacher, takes care of the materials and laboratory equipment entrusted to him.

Sufficient: the student needs additional instructions to perform specific tasks and use the equipment, is poorly involved in the implementation of research, has problems with chemical calculations and preparation of reagents, with the help of the teacher, prepares documentation and interprets the results, takes care of the materials and laboratory equipment entrusted to him.

Insufficient: the student does not understand the meaning of the research, carelessly carries out the tasks entrusted to him, does not keep reliable documentation, cannot analyze the results and draw conclusions, does not care for the materials and laboratory equipment assigned to him

During the course, the teacher continuously assesses his activity and practical skills in the laboratory, compliance with the work schedule, the reliability of the measurements taken, the ability to analyze the obtained results and creativity in solving research problems. Teamwork skills and culture, work safety and care for materials and scientific equipment are also assessed.

Submission of the thesis:

The assessment includes a creative approach to creating a master's thesis, the formal side, the review part of the work (the number of publications used and their compliance with the scope of the work). the correctness of the preparation of the results and the conclusions drawn

Student skills are assessed on a four-point grading scale (insufficient, satisfactory, good, very good)

Very good grade - the student independently prepares the thesis, prepares the review part independently, and draws correct conclusions from the analyses/experiments performed.

Good grade - the student, with a bit of help from the supervisor, prepares a thesis, interprets and draws correct conclusions from the analyzes/experiments on his own or with a little help from the supervisor.

Sufficient grade - the student needs the supervisor's help to prepare the master's thesis, and with the supervisor's help, concludes the analyses/experiments performed.

Insufficient grade - the student has not prepared a thesis; even with the supervisor's help, he cannot correctly conclude the analyses/experiments performed.

The results obtained so far are prepared by the student in the form of a multimedia presentation, which the student presents to the supervisor of the thesis within the prescribed period.
