Assessment of arbuscular mycorrhizal communities associated with dominant plants in Błędowska desert.

Metody dydaktyczne: (tylko po angielsku)

Practical in the laboratory under the teacher's supervision, formulating research theses, carrying out planned experiments, and solving research problems.

Learning and assisting in searching and studying literature in the thesis field. Assessment of the usefulness of the collected literature for writing a thesis and discussion of scientific problems with the supervisor.

Metody i kryteria oceniania: (tylko po angielsku)

During the course, the teacher continuously assesses students' activity and practical skills in the laboratory, compliance with the work schedule, the reliability of the measurements taken, the ability to analyse the obtained results and creativity in solving research problems. Teamwork skills, culture, work safety, and care for materials and scientific equipment are also assessed.

Assessment of practical skills:

Very good: the student understands the purposefulness of the problem under study, is very involved and creative in conducting research, is systematic, performs experiments reliably, makes chemical calculations flawlessly, prepares accurate documentation, correctly interprets the results, and takes care of the materials and laboratory equipment.

Good: the student understands the purposefulness of the problem under study, is involved in conducting experiments, is systematic, reliably performs subsequent experiments, performs chemical calculations with the help, correctly prepares documentation, and interprets the results with a bit of help from the teacher, takes care of the materials and laboratory equipment.

Sufficient: the student needs additional instructions to perform specific tasks and use the equipment, is poorly involved in the implementation of research, has problems with chemical calculations and preparation of reagents, with the help of the teacher, prepares documentation and interprets the results, takes care of the materials and laboratory equipment entrusted to the student.

Insufficient: the student does not understand the meaning of the research, carelessly carries out the tasks entrusted to him, does not keep reliable documentation, cannot analyse the results and draw conclusions, and does not care about the materials and laboratory equipment.

The student prepares the final report as a multimedia presentation, which is presented to the supervisor within the scheduled period.

The content of the report, presentation and discussion are assessed:

Very good: the report is complete, factually correct, carefully prepared, and presented maturely; within the allotted time, the student actively participates in the discussion.

Good: the report is complete, contains few substantive errors, is carefully prepared, and presented correctly without using notes; within the allotted time, the student correctly answers the questions.

Sufficient: the report is complete, contains few factual errors, is carefully prepared, and presented with the help of notes. The student has a poor understanding of the topic.

Insufficient: the report is incomplete, contains factual errors, is made carelessly, the student has difficulties delivering a paper and does not take up the discussion.

The condition for passing the module is a positive grade from the final report and the assessment of practical skills
