during the course, the tutor continuously assesses the student's work in terms of the above-mentioned substantive requirements, verifies his theoretical and practical skills related to the current topic of classes, assesses commitment, reliability and reliability during work and in the preparation of documentation, as well as creativity in solving research problems. Thanks to the use of gamification methods in the teaching process, the tutor activates students and, using digital tools, such as Kahoot or Mentimeter quizzes, verifies knowledge on an ongoing basis during classes, which allows for continuous quantified assessment of students.
During online classes: The condition for the evaluation is contact with the audiovisual student, in the absence of technical possibilities to participate in the classes with the use of a camera and microphone, the student's responsiveness is obligatory via chat on the MS Teams channel
In addition, after completing each tutorial unit, the student has 30 minutes to complete the worksheet carried out during the classes and send it to the teacher at the previously indicated e-mail address (or making the file available, depending on the arrangements)
5 - the student actively participates in the exercises, understands the purposefulness of the actions taken, can explain the next stages of the procedures and knows the principle of the techniques used, asks questions about his commitment and creativity in solving current problems and planning additional experiments, actively participates in discussions on analysis and interpretation of results;
4 - the student is able to answer the questions asked, understands the essential stages of the procedures carried out, is able to plan simple experiments and use the available literature to interpret the results of observations, is reliable in keeping documentation of laboratory work;
3 - the student needs additional guidance from the teacher in the course of performing assigned activities and in solving current problems, is poorly involved in the implementation of practical activities, is not active during the discussion of results;
2 - the student is not involved in the performance of laboratory work, does not understand the purpose of the activities performed or assigned tasks, does not keep reliable documentation of the work and observations performed, does not know the basic concepts needed to interpret the results;

Particular emphasis is placed on getting to know the various methods used in bioinformatics analyzes. In the analyzes carried out under the supervision of the tutor, the student acquires the ability to search for information in available databases, collect information from biological experiments and basic bioinformatics analyzes. In addition, students will learn how to analyze data from Next Generation High Throughput Sequencing (NGS). During the classes, the tutor uses gamification methods in the didactic process, thanks to which the tutor activates students and, using digital tools such as Kahoot or Mentimeter quizzes, consolidates the knowledge with students on an ongoing basis during the classes. During Bioinformatics classes, the content of original and review articles in English is used to design experiments as well as analyze and interpret their results.
