Przedmiotu dotyczy związków psychologi i psychoterapii z fotografią. Poruszane tematy obejmują ujęcie historyczne tego zjawiska oraz współczesne tendencje i wspólne obszary - wykorzystanie fotografii w badaniach i interwencjach terapeutycznych, oraz psychologii w interpretowaniu zachowań związanych z fotografią.
